Owl Head Lodge was the dream of its original owner to combine good architecture with a love for the land on which he built. The result was a stunning residence combining the 3 fundamental principles of architecture: Function, Structure and Beauty. Although the kitchen and bathrooms have since been renovated, the property’s original bones remain — recycled timber beams surrounding walls of glass panels running floor to high-vaulted ceiling — and hosts, Rob and Sarah, delight in sharing their unique accommodation with their guests.

The Owl Head Lodge estate adjoins the cattle property and looks out over the neighbouring vineyards.  With wraparound views, the outlook from just about every room is delightful – be it lush valley and tree-studded paddocks, grazing cattle and vineyards in a forested range backdrop.
