Only 5mins from historical Gulgong and an easy 20min drive from Mudgee, Owl Head Lodge is the authentic rural escape you have been searching for.

Owl Head Lodge is also the ideal country escape for groups of 20 or more. Our property offers a variety of versatile accommodation across 7 cottages, some of which can be interlinked internally and externally, so there is plenty for room for families, friends or corporate groups seeking an exclusive venue for their retreat or event.
Our expansive property with its outstanding rural backdrop and breathtaking views is the ideal location for weddings, ceremonies and approved corporate and private events.

Meet the owners
We are Rob and Sarah. We treasure the whole Gulgong and Mudgee region and are very passionate about sharing our piece of paradise with all of our guests. Our aim is to ensure that your stay is unforgettable for all the right reasons and that our accommodation, stunning location and the serenity that comes with it lures you back to use time and time again.
Working Farm
Owl Head Lodge is also home to a fold of majestic Highland Cattle. We are registered members of the Australian Highland Cattle Society and take great pride in providing a wonderful home for these well-mannered and exceptional cattle.
